We create latex moulds from original
designs, and pour one at a time. Once the resin has set
in the mould, it's ready for production.
First we clean away any excess with
a dremel and a paring knife. Then we drill and set a screw
through the center for mounting securely onto a staff. The
top is then washed, primed, painted and varnished to
provide long lasting lustre.
When the top is complete, we choose
a straight stick that has a wide diameter. The stick is
drilled, and we pour a quick setting epoxy down into the hole
and screw the top right into it. When the epoxy has
cured, we add a small strip of leather to finish the staff.
